Getting out of pain is only half the equation. Staying out of it is the other half. Dr. George Perez builds therapeutic exercise into care for patients throughout Pearland, Shadow Creek, Manvel, and the surrounding area, giving you the tools to keep progress going long after you leave the office.

What Therapeutic Exercise Looks Like

Rather than a generic handout of stretches, therapeutic exercise at Flex Chiropractic is chosen specifically for what your exam shows and what your body needs to move well again. That might mean targeted stretches to restore range of motion, strengthening exercises to support a joint that's been compensating for pain, or movement pattern work to correct habits that contributed to the problem in the first place.

Why It's Part of Your Plan

Adjustments, dry needling, and soft tissue work all help address what's going on in the moment, but lasting change usually requires strengthening the areas that let the problem happen, or come back, in the first place. Therapeutic exercise closes that gap, giving your body the support it needs to hold onto the progress made in-office.

How It's Delivered

After each visit, you'll receive a printed take-home plan with clear instructions, reps, and sets for your specific exercises, along with a QR code you can scan to watch video demonstrations. That way, you're never left guessing whether you're doing something correctly at home.

Common Uses

  • Recovery support after adjustments or dry needling

  • Building strength around a previously injured area

  • Correcting posture-related pain from desk work or repetitive strain

  • Long-term maintenance for active or physically demanding lifestyles

What to Expect

Your exercises are reviewed and adjusted as you progress, so what you're doing at month one likely won't be exactly what you're doing by month three. Dr. George will walk you through proper form during your visit so you're confident doing them on your own at home.
